Technical changes include: frames rendered out at 16bpc and video encoded with AV1 at 10bpc at ~16 Mbps, removed light threshold, used blue-noise sampling, used more diffuse and glossy samples, unclamped indirect light, removed filter glossy, swapped from fast GI approximation to true global illumination, raised texture resolution cap to 4K, adjusted materials to use multiscatter GGX, added diffuse roughness, and changed skin SSS values to physically correct ones.
